How to Invite Collaborators to Storylines

Story Lines was built as a text based editing software, but truly, it's one of the best ways you can collaborate with people in the very first parts of your rough cut.

Collaborator Icon

It's as simple as just clicking the "collaborate" icon on the top right of the editor. Here, a link will populate that you can share with anyone.

Collaborator Options

You can also select permissions for your collaborators. They can either view, comment, or edit, so you have choices on how much involvement you can give a collaborator.

If you have multiple people that you're trying to invite to your project, you can also just add them by email right below. Here you can enter all the emails that you need (comma separated), and then just click invite with the same permissions that you could select with the link.

Collaboration Tools

Now that you have people that you can collaborate with on your project, they can go through and give you an emoji on clips to show their approval or denial, and even add comment notes at the foot of every clip. If a collaborator has editing permissions, they can access the project at the same level as the original user.
